Jean is a self taught “escape” artist. Jean nursed for 40 years and had 4 boys, so painting was an escape. Jean says: ‘Playing with and exploring paints is like meditation for me.’ Shestarted painting plein air, now her work is constantly evolving as she plays with different media, subjects and methods. Consequently, Jean’s artworks are loose and often colourful.
