Lisa Takahashi is a Somerset based British -Japanese printmaker.

In her bold and colourful lino prints she makes images full of movement and energy, using dynamic shapes and vibrant colours. Her favourite approach is the ‘multi -block’ technique. She has appeared on sky arts landscape artist of the year several times, reaching the semi-final in 2018.

In this demonstration watch Lisa construct a lino cut image, building the image and layers of colour to create her characteristically vibrant work.
